A little bit of history
MeteoGlobale was created in January 2015 following a meeting between Jocelyne Blouin and Jean-Charles Beaubois. Rapidly joined by investor Richard Gervais and Samuel Parent, a digital marketing specialist.
Jocelyne Blouin, unfortunately, passed away in 2019, but her research spirit remains within us.
One year later, Blisly, a mobile app for weather-sensitive people was launched. 1 year of research with 15 persons to make it happen. Exceptional partners were invaluable to the project: CNRC, CRIM, and The Montreal Sacré-Cœur Hospital. The App is available for the North-American continent and Europe.
Kffein joined MeteoGlobale in February 2016 and guaranteed the company high-level programming and data management.
Today
Today MeteoGlobale evolves in several areas: winter viability & road conditions, filming & events, construction, marketing, agriculture, and health.
With our road weather platform, Meteo-Routes, we service over 50 municipalities in Quebec for Roads & Winter Viability. We also service the Quebec Transport Ministry, covering its entire network of routes and highways.
Only one question matters: is your company/organization like 75% of others? Is it weather-sensitive? This question requires analysis, data interpretation, and precise, personally adapted weather forecasts.
Climatologists, meteorologists, and marketing analysts constitute our team. MeteoGlobale offers complete weather-related servicing to help your company grow.
Beyond precise local weather forecasting, we combine this data with your own industry’s parameters to dynamically offer you specific recommendations.
